  • This team retained their core group but still this team is missing some impact player.Captain Aniruddha Joshi will face a daunting task of motivating the players to perform in this season again.
  • Abhimanyu Mithun will not play this match as he is playing in Duleep trophy and this is a big setback for them as Mithun was the biggest buy of this KPL auction.
  • Liyan Khan and Nihal Ullal are expected to open the inning...Liyan Khan is rated highly while  while Nihal Ullal had a bad last year but he was highest scorer of recently played Karnataka 2nd level domestic tournamnet.
  • BR Sharath is expected to bat at 1 down..He is  a good player and he even got selected in Karnataka team last year
  • Aniruddha Joshi and Jonathan R are expected to bat at 2 and 3 down..Both are very good hitters of the ball.
  • It looks like one of Nishant Shekhawat or Rohit K will play.
  • Kishore Kamat,Prithwiraj Shekhawat and Sarfraz Ashraf will lead the spin attack,both can bat also.All have a good tournament last year  has all can bat also.
  • K Hoysala and Aditya Somanna will lead the pace attack of the team.

  • They were the runner of the 2016 edition while they reached semifinal last year.So they will surely want to go 1 step ahead and will try to grab the title this year.Thery won their last match due to good bowling by their bowlers and due to an attacking inning from M Tha.
  • Theirr spin bowler Mahesh Patel bowled a magnificent spell and most of the time batsman were unable to pick his variations..He took 3 wickets iun last match.
  • Attacking batsman Mohammad Taha and Abhishek Reddy will open the inning...Taha made an attacking half century in last match,he will surely want to replicate his  performance of 2016 again.
  • Sujit Gowda and Sunil  Jain will follow them ..In this Sunil Jain is a good player.
  • Allrounder Vinay Kumar,Nitin Bhille and Praveen Dubey will follow them.All are good hitters of ball .
  • Abhishek Sakuja,Praveen Dubey and Anil IG will lead the spin attck.Abhishek Sakuja was the highest wicket taker last year and he is decent hitter of ball also.Both Praveen Dubey and Abhishek have a good Ranji experience so team will want good showing from them again.Surprisingly Dubey didn't bowl in last match but he is a good bowler.
  • Vinay Kumar,Darshan MB and Kranti Kumar will lead the pace attack.All bowled well in last match
  • This team has very deep batting lineup.They have batsman till no.8 .All batsman till Kranti Kumar can bat.
  • Mayank Agrawal is not available for selection so he will not play.
